North Yorkshire Timber Freight Seminar

As timber extraction continues to be an important part of our county’s industry, the transport of timber from forest blocks to the customer is increasingly moving up the agenda for both the timber industry and highways authorities.

This seminar will provide the opportunity for stakeholders to meet and discuss current issues facing the industry nationwide. Representatives from the timber industry, the freight industry and local government will be speaking at the event, which will include discussion groups looking at more specific examples of developing best practice in timber transport.
