If you produce firewood, woodchips or pellets as a fuel, or are considering using them as a fuel, this course is a must.  It introduces the latest standards for solid biofuels in use in the UK, provides the methodology for sampling fuel and covers quality assurance processes. The course involves a practical on how to sample fuel products accurately.

This three day course has spurred a number of companies to embark on new business ventures in the rapidly expanding wood fuel market.  Applying knowledge and skills gained on the course, many of these companies are now actively participating in the wood fuel supply chain as producers and suppliers.
