Stirling & Tayside Timber Transport Group meeting

The Stirling and Tayside Timber Transport Group was formed in May 2005 following the amalgamation of two former regional timber transport groups – the Stirling Timber Transport Liaison Group and the Tayside Timber Transport Group.  The combined group covers Stirling, Perth & Kinross and Angus Council areas and currently meets biannually.  In 2006 the group was successful in securing funding from the Strategic Timber Transport Scheme (STTS) to appoint a part-time programme facilitator to take forward the key work of the group and appointed Rural Development Initiatives as the Programme Facilitator.
